Member Copy 4 is preferred (contains full character of service). Required to verify veteran status, type of discharge, service dates, and MOS. Used for veteran pay differential eligibility.

State-issued Armed Guard Permit or Concealed Carry License applicable in Nevada. Must be current. Expired permits must be renewed before being assigned to armed posts.

Proof of passing a state-approved firearm qualification course. Nevada requires Armed Security Guards to qualify annually with each firearm type they carry on duty.

State-issued Security Guard Card or Registration Certificate (Nevada: issued by the State Private Investigator's Licensing Board or PILB). If you don't have one, we can guide you through the licensing process — applications typically take 2-4 weeks.

Current CPR / AED / First Aid Certification
Must be from an accredited provider (Red Cross, AHA, NSC). Must not be expired. Officers without current certification must complete a course before their start date. We can recommend local providers.

Signed Background Check Authorization
We conduct a comprehensive background check on all new hires. The signed consent form must be completed before we initiate the check. Results are handled confidentially per FCRA guidelines.
